As others have said, old news. I thought then, and think now, that it
was a comfort blanket for some corporate type somewhere, not real in any
real sense.

It may provide food for land-sharks, in the USA but nowhere else, and
cause large corporations to eat their own tails at some po0int in the
future (like the SCO/IBM debacle). So it is therefore nothing to do
with me, or with Linux as a whole,

If the dinasaurs want to trample each others nests, just keep out the
the way and let them do it. So far they havn't.

I am much more disturbed by the passing of software patent laws and DRM.
The prosecution of passing foriegners by the US (for doing something
perfectly legal at home) just for the benefit of large, Japanese-owned,
companies is far nastier.
