Job well done. 0.7.8-8 is a much smoother and faster implementation than any of the previous releases. I don't know what was done to rotation or to the work-arounds, but rotation is now smooth as silk on the same x86_64 hardware where before it was a bit more jumpy and sluggish. 0.7.6 worked great, but 0.7.8-8 looks like an overwhelming refinement of what was a good thing.
One question lingers though, "What was the issue with 0.7.8-2?" Whatever it was, it has been relegated to history now....
Thanks. Also, if you would like someone to test new releases on 11.0 x86_64 hardware, with fully updated kde 3.5.9 before they go public, shoot me an email and I'll be happy to do it. I can usually give you an answer within the hour.
Just confirming that this works great on 11.0 with KDE 3.5.10. I agree 0.7.8 is much better then 0.7.4 or even 0.7.6. How much code did you guys rip out :D I don't use too much bling just Cube Rotation, Wobbly Windows and Enhanced Zoom.
