Bob S. did you report this as a bug? If so please post bug #.
No Russ, I didn't. I have posted bug reports in the past and nothing ever happened. Now I just shrug my shoulders if it is just an annoyance, and move on.
This action or lack thereof helps *no-one*, expecially yourself. If you are not ready to help, please do not ask for help. (and you do frequently, as do many of us).
Huh ??? Patrick, did you have a bad day? Dump the "HOG" or it wouldn't start, or scratched a fender? or whatever!.
No, very good day, photographed a youth soccer tournament on a pleasant sunny day in central Indiana.
Had a bad day myself the other day. Acetylene tank ran dry while I was welding on an old Porsche which I am restoring. Had to drive 15 miles each way to get it refilled. Kind of shot the day to hell. Very aggravating.
that's too bad
Kind of thought I was helping by sending along my experience which might shed some light on russbucket's dilemna. Evidently it did because he acknowledged that is what possibly happened.
AND, your failure to *notice* resolution of *your* bug reports does not mean that no action has been or will be taken, just that *you* did not *see* it.
I would guess that is very possible. I don't dwell on those things. Just accept and move on. Not important enough in my declining years. Not a Crusader anymore. I am an old guy. Very possibly the oldest on the list and no computer background whatsoever.
I doubt the oldest or even close. But I do have "computer background", we called it a slip-stick.
I just try to learn and enjoy myself.
Apparently at other expense!
Step up and be part of the solution, sit back and be part of the problem.
Absolutely true. Same words I used many years ago. Time, however. for the young bucks to step up and lead.
Keep on sniping Patrick. I love it. Might make a difference.
In this case, I seriously doubt it. btw, any further private mail will bounce until your mail system is repaired... :^) -- Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA HOG # US1244711 http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://counter.li.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
