I am running 10.3, with Firefox (64 bit) 3.03 and Thunderbird 2.0.0.17 (64 bit) (though I should also stipulate I do update my Cups from OBS Printing Repo), and I have no problem printing to either my cups printers, nor my cups-pdf printer, nor the dialog box pdf option.
Hi Joe,
OK. I have rpm -q --qf '%{name}-%{version}-%{release}-%{distribution}\n' gtk2 gtk2-2.12.0-5.8-openSUSE 10.3 (X86-64)
gtk2 was said then to be the problem. In my posts you will see that changing it did not help, rather caused more havoc.
I have the same version as you. joe@jmorris:~> rpm -q --qf '%{name}-%{version}-%{release}-%{distribution}\n' gtk2 gtk2-2.12.0-5.8-openSUSE 10.3 (X86-64)
What I haven't tried was: rpm -q --qf '%{name}-%{version}-%{release}-%{distribution}\n' cups cups-1.2.12-22.15-openSUSE 10.3 (X86-64)
Mine is quite a bit different here. joe@jmorris:~> rpm -q --qf '%{name}-%{version}-%{release}-%{distribution}\n' cups cups-1.3.8-1.1-Printing / openSUSE_10.3
Could it be the cups version? Why?
I would sure guess it must be. You could try adding the BS Printing repo and update the packages from there. I can say it works fine here. -- Joe Morris Registered Linux user 231871 running openSUSE 10.3 x86_64 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
