Hi,
I'm using OpenSUSE 11.0, KDE3.
In older versions it was possible to chose servers for SW
download/update (Yast suggested some based on "proximity", but you
could chose another server.
Currently it looks like server is selected automatically.
I have persistent problem with the server for build service Mozilla:
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/mozilla/openSUSE_11.0.
I could see that I'm redirected to
ftp://dispenser.yandex.net/opensuse/repositories/mozilla/openSUSE_11.0
and YaST times out consistently on that server. So I have to download
manually from different mirror.
Is it still possible to chose a server or to blacklist specific server?
It's not possible to blacklist, but you're not forced to go through the
download.opensuse.org redirector. In the YaST "repositories" module, you can
add whatever server you want to use manually, just like before
