So have you tried with it Offload OFF?
I've had problems with it in the past, which I ultimately tracked
to an application problem, but which only manifested itself when
offload was switched on using a gigabit nic.
Agreed the Offload does not always work under Linux. There was a long
thread on the DRBD list that ended up being caused by a faulty Offload
issue. I don't recall if it was bug in the firmware, or in the Linux
driver, but either way it was resolved by disabling the offload
(iirc).
