In another thread I mentioned that the video in Xine and Kaffeine are being affected by the openSUSE version of Firefox: if Firefox is running the video in both Xine and Kaffeine (I use both to view digital TV) is seriously affected with the video stuttering, halting, jumping while the audio is not affected. (See my thread, "Firefox, Xine and Kaffeine".) Well, now there is another development! When Firefox is running, the wordprocessor in Thunderbird does not function properly: the characters being typed appear a short time after they are actually typed; and editing also is not 'instant' nor responsive as it should be. For example, deleting a character is not only not instant but the delete may actually delete 2 characters rather than the one intended. None of this occurred prior to some upgrades done recently (ie, in the past couple of weeks - I think). Thunderbird I am using, BTW, is the openSUSE version (as is Firefox). Not impressed.
