The command line usage is to dig out the problem.
BTW, your sound drvier is oss. Is this OK?
Anyway, try as follws;
1. # mv ~/.mplayer/gui.conf ~/.mplayer/gui.conf.orig
2. start gmplayer
3. set the audio and video driver
4. play DVD
How about this?
