I assume this is before it does the actuall installation. Have a look 
round all the text consoles to see if there is something reported. If not, 
look at the logs: two of the consoles allows typing commands, so you can 
have a look at the logs on /var/log (it is a ramdisk, not a real disk). 
Some of those logs belongs to the installer.
