Hello, We installed opensuse 11 with all the languages selected and we noticed that on the greeter theres no option to select the language. The system is configured with kdm/kde as default. On our previous system we had centos and gdm/gnome as default and we could choose the language from there. As an experiment I setup the opensuse system with gdm/kde and the language menu is on the greeter. It is my understanding that using gdm/kde would make some things not work in kde but I dont know what and it doesnt seem logical to work around a kde bug by using gnome. I see that in kde i can go to the control panel and change the language from there but it doesnt seem very convenient since you have to logon, be able to read the menus and figure out where to go, change the language, logoff and logon again. Since our system is configured with French as default, we have visitors that cant read it and wont be able to find the settings. Also, I dont think theres such a configuration in gnome since it seems to be done in the greeter. Suggestions?
