Hello,
I managed to solve a couple of prpblems on
the road to connection, which I'll document
later if I get this set up to work properly

- loaded the firmware in openSuse

- obtained the proper keyword for my Airport
network.

- Network Manager detects my network and joins
it.

Now however I still cannot get any response from
any of the systems in my network or from the
outside. This is with openSuse 10.3 - Gnome on
a Mac Mini PPC.

The internet connection functions well with a
wired connection as well as under Mac OS X with
a wireless connection. For the openSuse wireless
I compared the Mac output from ifconfig to the
output from the openSuse setup and changed some
of the differences (Broadcast) with ifconfig.

Actually I spend so much time on this that I am
ready to give up. But maybe there is some kind
person out there who can give me the last hint?

greetings,
Klaas Punt
