Hi all, Normally when I want to open a file with an application in Konqueror, I click with the right mouse button on the file, then select "Open with", go to the sub-menu option "Other", and want to use a different application as the default, Konqueror allows me to type the name of the application in on the top, or I can select from the menu items the application I want to use. This is great. In Thunderbird, when I try to open an attachment with say OOo-Writer, I only get the option to go into the file system and search for the application executable. This is sometimes very frustrating, because some applications may be under /opt/kde3/bin, or /usr/bin or wherever, and maybe the executable's name is not known. How can Thunderbird and some other apps that behave this way be configured to always do what Konqueror does in selecting 'Other' from the menu structure or allow typing in the programme's name? TIA :-) Al -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
