There's scarcely a difference, is there? I mean, you have to have a terminal emulator running.
The diffrence is Putty has a pretty dialog box that lets me setup the tunnel without using -L 80:192.168.12.49:80... or whatever it is... always seem to get it wrong unless I read the man page beforehand.
Anyway, if you install kssh
I did install Kssh and was wondering why there was no extra menu
items. Where exactly in Konsole do I klick?
joako@joako-linux:~> man kssh
No manual entry for kssh

Fish with Konqueror.
I already use that. It lets me browse the files, not a terminal session. http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/ -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
