Haven't tried it, also, all my albums are stored on Digikam and feel
comfortable with it...

Hi,
I'm testing my first 11.0 installation and finally found available the
Export --> PicasaWeb option, BUT it doesn't work. Anybody was lucky to
make it work?, there's no error, It asks for credentials, then
presents a window where I can choose an Album (none are listed
although I know they exist).
I tried creating a new one or just uploading the pictures without
creating or selecting one, expecting an error, but It stays on "0%".
Oops... That's using Digikam.
could see
the albums listed. I could create new album but uploads did not work. Using
digikam 0.10 was a no go. I cannot get that to list albums locally or use
it for
anything else.
I'm using Fireuploader.

"As the name says, this firefox extension allows you to
upload/download files from any website using a friendly interface.
Upload files/photos/videos to Flickr, Picasa, Youtube, Box.net(1GB
of free space), Facebook, Webshots, OmniDrive, SME Storage and
Google Docs in this version. Next versions would support other
websites like Google Videos etc. You can add multiple files to the
queue at a time. Extension will take care of uploading them for
you."

Also tried It, but gave me segfaults or errors of some kind (didn't
take an snapshot)... And you can't resize the images before
uploading...

I'm joining this thread late, so maybe this has been answered.....
Why not just use Picasa? I installed it on on a ubuntu machine
the other day from Googles repository and it worked
flawlessly.
Haven't tried it, also, all my albums are stored on Digikam and feel
comfortable with it...
