Hello
In my ongoing quest to get suse on an Eeepc just the way I want it I
encountered a problem: While fixing the Madwifi drivers I get the
error: "Error: file /lib/modules/2.6.25.5-1.1-pae/build/.config: no
such file or directory." when I perform make install.
I tried "cp /lib/modules/2.6.25.5-1.1-pae/build/makedumpfile.config
/lib/modules/2.6.25.5-1.1-pae/build/.config" , but I when I tried to
make install again it told me: "ath_hal/ah_target.inc:5: *** ARCH must
be defined". Stop" . Does anyone have a clue as what is wrong and,
more importantly: Does anyone know how to fix or circumvent this?
Thanks for your time.
Neil
btw: I tried http://en.opensuse.org/OpenSUSE_on_the_EeePC but somehow
it doesn't seem to like me. Dunno why but I cant seem to get the
network manager installed. Well, this way gives me most of the stuff I
want directly, if I can get that wifi working.
