Are you using rdesktop or krdc which is a wrapper for rdesktop? 

can you run rdesktop from the command line and tell us the error you are 
getting in the console? if running krdc please run it from the console and 
report error. 

Try using rdesktop natively without a krdc wrapper (if you are running
krdc)..

I'm using rdesktop from a gnome terminal - I'm lucky if I get 2 minutes
before rdesktop freezes and then crashes.

Error: recv: Connection reset by peer

I can remote to the same XP machine from other suse11 machines without issue,
this problem is only happening on my main workstation at my desk.
