Thought of giving one more try as per Vahe's suggestion. opneSUSE booted up after installation got completed, without any restart. So I did run "grub-install /dev/sdb", however rebooting and trying to boot from "sdb" failed. Booting up with DVD and "aborting" and selecting "Boot Installed System" from sdb also gave linuxrc error. Still can't understand why the option of booting from external USB has been made so crippled, it looks so deliberated. -- Regards, Ashish "There are 10 types of people; those who understand binary, and those who don't" -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
