Hello,
I'm trying to copy on DVD the ISO image for Suse11 with K3b, size of file is 4.3Gb, I have the message 4.4Gb available on status-bar of K3b but when slipping the file on folder I have the message "it is not possible to add file oversizing 4Gb"...
Does anybody knows a solution?? Thank you in advance Michel -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
Hi Michel There is a difference in what you (probably) want to do and what you are (probably) telling K3B to do. I think you want to burn an ISO image to DVD and be able to acces the files inside that ISO image when the DVD is loaded, true? You would like to be able to boot from the disk and install Suse 11, true? You are telling K3B to burn the ISO image to DVD as a file, and thus (if it had succeded) you would have a disk with 1 file on it: openSUSE-11.0-DVD-x86_64.iso or openSUSE-11.0-DVD-i386.iso. You would NOT be able to boot from it and you would NOT be able to install Suse 11 with it. You need to burn an iso. I dunno for sure (on windows @work atm) but it should be in the default taskbar. I'll check into it when I am at home again. Neil -- There are two kinds of people: 1. People who start their arrays with 1. 1.
