Hello everyone,

I just subscribed to the mailing list only for one question concerning
the ftp-proxy from the SuSE proxy suite.

I do have an active/passive cluster setup with 2 nodes and one virtual
IP, which is started on the active node.

I start the ftp-proxy via xinetd.

I configured xinetd to listen on port 2121 only on the virtual IP-Adress
for incoming ftp-traffic.
(port = 2121 and bind= <virtual IP> in xinet.conf)

This works, but I want ftp-proxy also to use this port for outgoing
ftp-traffic.

Currently it always uses the physical address of the machine it is just
running on and not the virtual IP Adress.

I did not find any parameter in ftp-proxy.conf to achieve this, only
"Listen <virt. IP>" but this does not work.

So here is my question:
Is there a possibility to force ftp-proxy to use the virtual IP also for
outgoing traffic?

Any help is appreciated.

Best regards
Florian
