I currently have 10.3 32-bit and CUPS 1.2.12 on my system. I want to upgrade to 1.3.8, which hopefully will solve a problem I'm having printing to a HP OfficeJet printer attached to a Windows machine. I went and downloaded 1.3.8 from the cups website, compiled it, made an rpm and upgraded using the command line. However, when I did this, cups would fail and had this red line when looked at through YaST. I backed down to 1.2.12 and all is well. I looked and found factory versions of 1.3.8. How do I go about getting this? http://packages.opensuse-community.org/index.jsp?searchTerm=cups&distro=SUSE_Factory If I click on Install in Firefox, the software asks me to open with KTorrent. If I do so in Konqueror, then YaST comes up and tells me I'm not able to install on this version. -- kai www.filesite.org || www.4thedadz.com || www.perfectreign.com remember - a turn signal is a statement, not a request -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
