Guy,
This might be a nubie question, but last night I installed a new sata card and 1TB drive. Well, I thought I had made the 1TB drive ext3, but when I got to mount it, I get wrong super block error. Now, if I tell that to mount it with auto it does. So how can I tell what format is the partions, because it not ext3.
Thanks.
How 'bout fstab?
Tony, again I had to set to auto to get to mount fstab is unless.
Yes. How 'bout the other suggestions posted? Or also you could use fdisk and print the partition table?

Randall's worked, the others only read the fstab. Thanks for all your help. I wish I could use a program to change it from ext2 to ext3 without formatting the drive. -- -- Command, n.: Statement presented by a human and accepted by a computer in such a manner as to make the human feel as if he is in control. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
