[07-23-08 20:52]: On openSUSE 11.0 should the command below work by default?
default ???
sudo lsb_release -a
you don't need sudo, /usr/bin/lsb_release -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 12961 2006-04-28 10:29 /usr/bin/lsb_release
what do you mean, default?
I don't have to do anything 'extra'. I've seen some posts that made me think the package that provides this command/utility may have been installed without the user installing a specific package(s).
is lsb installed?
OK thanks, I didn't realize that was the package. I'll install that. Cheers Mark
