Sure, Linux is good, but it's not perfect, and I think we should not rest on our achievements, but need to be careful to stay ahead.
All true, Lars, but no one that I recall said we were proof against all possible attacks -- indeed, several were emphatic in saying we needed _appropriate_ defenses. The subject, of this thread, remember, was the assertion that the kernel developers were idiots because they did not include an explicit kernel-level provision for intrusion checking on every access to any file.
