Oh, so let's go buy a new motherboard so that we can have the functionality 
that we did before,

The point is Greg, that all of this was so unneccesary. No forethought, or 
worse, disregard for the users. Nobody asks or "floats an idea" in 
this "Community".  Just unilaterally invoked by those who know best.
