Hi Erik this looks like a killed off Nvidia driver module my fix would be down to text terminal screen login init3 then re-run the Nvidia install you downloaded from the Nvidia site then init 5 should be back up and running if you have used the yast method of installing your Nvidia driver you are on your own i have tried and never will use that method again the times i have tried it it was a total failure Pete .

Ok, I did what you say is not so good. Used the install via Yast.
