I notice the opensuse 11.0 release of VLC no longer

Install matroska codec from yast, after that Kaffeine worked for me.

Barev Sergey, I checked that I had libmatroska installed and it was. VLC still will *not* play .mkv videos. I installed VLC on VB running XP and sure enough it played mkv files. Any idea what else to check for? Is the opensuse 11.0 repository deliberately lobotomized?
