As an alternative, the printers were configured in cups through the web interface by pointing the browser to http://localhost:631. Make sure the printer(s) are connected to the pc. From the admin tab, select find new printers and any detected printers should be visible. Follow the prompts to configure and test the printer. The ink-jet was configured using the "Find Printers" command. For the laser-jet, the "add printer" option was selected and the prompts followed to configure and test the printer.

I had my own fair share of printer problems, and I got it to work by going through K Button -> Utilities -> Printing -> Printing -> New Printer and I have have DJ 932 so I used the HP inkjet driver, which was available. -- Michael S.
