It's not reason enough if the programs I need to run do run in it. If it crashes, well, it is windows! It is to be expected. As a matter of fact, it seldom crashes for me, I can keep it running or suspended for days. I have removed many things from it, of course, that I run in the linux host instead. It is very slow, though. The expense is not justified, yet. When I'm forced to buy a new computer it will come with some windows almost "per force" and I will use it at that time.
But.. not that important... as you pointed out, ME is supported in VMWare. If you need to run it... and have nothing better... then VMWare works.
