Hi all,
on an opensuse 10.3 x64 virtual machine i did last week kernel
security update (by yast online update).
Since then system seemed to have totally turned crazy. Things were looking
fine but i was not able to do a lot since a lot of commands finished
stalled (apache restart and even reboot lasts minutes without effect).
I noticed numerous (36000 for one 6 days, about 10 per second)messages
logs lines:
Jul 2 17:25:51 vm kernel: clocksource/0: Time went backwards:
ret=a4be032de823 delta=-8008047874495400 shadow=a4bde99be754
offset=1992153a
I finally did a yast install of the kernel available in the install
repository and things are going back perfectly.
i am now :Linux vm 2.6.22.18-0.2-xen #1 SMP 2008-06-09 13:53:20 +0200
x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
Does anyone experienced the same ?
