read your logs twice. Once to find out where your problem was and read
it. And then again to put that problem in context.

This seems to be a SuSEfirewall2 config problem. Any insights are welcome.
Try looking for a verbose firewall log to see what rule the packets
are breaking.
There are also other places to look for help. openSuSE has networking
and security lists.
