More importantly, what did they do with Kong filemanager mode? Kong was one of the best filemanagers around. I loved the ability to link a shell to the current directory window.
While I always use mc (Midnight Commander) as my preferred file manager, I do use konqueror, in file manager mode, on occasions to view graphics (jpgs, gifs).
For this reason I support your comment that 'Kong' is one of the better file managers around - and "The Albatross" is simply that, an albatross. Sorry, I meant to state dolphin.
Ciao.
If you like mc (dual pane filemanager) try Krusader - its KDE GUI with lots of functionality. I'm a real keyboard freak, and Krusader provides really great shortcuts to almost all file actions. (very annoying that most modern interfaces are totally ignoring the keyboard these days) Manne -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
