Hello all,
I've got this device (Hauppauge Win TV PVR2 USB2, kernel module
pvrusb2) hooked up to my Dell Vostro laptop running OpenSuSE 10.3. The
device seems to be alive but of limited utility. Currently, I can
watch one broadcast channel in poor quality (to be expected) - and
gthat's it. I can control volume via my remote, but can't even change
channels.
Thus far, the best I can tell at least part of the problem I am facing
is that I do not have a /dev/vbi* device for my tuner. Without it,
Yast refuses to scan the channels for me. So that is one area I need
help with - namely, I need to find out how to create that device.
Additionally, I need to learn how to squeeze the most out of my tuner.
So, as always, any and all help much appreciated.
Cheers,
Boris.
