Hello,
due to the shutdown problems occuring since kernel update I try to umount my
disks manually to avoid disk problems due to incomplete shutdown without
unmounting...
So I log out from kde, choose "textmode", login (in text mode) as root. When I
then umount /home it says /home is busy.
But why? How can I find out what process or program is still connected
to /home, so that I can kill taht prior to umount?

try
fuser -c /home
and/or man fuser to see if it has more to offer than I know about.
