I've just installed opensuse 11 in the VMware workstation. 
I installed kde3 kde4 and gnome. All went very easy and very fast!!. The
installation was just great!

Now before I login I can chose kde3 or kde4 or gnome. 

Q1 ->Here is my question: what is the difference between login when I
checked kde3 or kde4?  

Both look the same.
I can load either application for kde3 or kde4.

My initial assumption is that either loading kde3 or kde4 IF I have both
installed I can run the application that may not be available If I
installed only one. For example kpdf is a kde3 application however I can
run it when kde4 is the win manager load it. 

Is this correct?  Please add any extra info related to installing both. 

Q2 -> A second question is related to compiz-fusion. Now I am running
kde3 + compiz under 10.3. If I installed both kde3 and kde4 under 11 am
I going to have any problems?

Thank you  and big thanks to the opensuse team. This is very impressive.
I am waiting for the boxed version to do the real installation.
