I would install HPLIP on my newly installed openSUSE 11.0.
I couldn't see the HP start icon, and I did not know how to start it manually.
If it is installed, you can turn it on with the runlevel editor in YAST/2
I got this lacking dependencies, and have installed gcc. Maybe I need more gcc's installed ?
The installer does not work with OPENSUSE 11. You can manually install it by following these directions: http://hplip.sourceforge.net/install/manual/distros/novell.html However, you will need to adept it to OPENSUSE 11 since, it has not been updated yet. If you have problems compiling, post your config.log. Charles
