Right click on the desktop, alight horizontally/vertically. The trickier part 
is to find out how to resize them all. The old option of changing the size of 
the desktop icons in control center doesn't work any more, and the little 
cross-like thing on the top left of the widget doesn't react.

anybody knows where did the run go from the classical-style menu?

how to add icons on the quick lunch?
