Thank You! That killed the beep, but also nixed the double-tap. Double-tap
without the eardrum-splitting beep would be nice, but for one or the other,
my coworkers prefer the no-beep option =)
In general, is there a way to disable the system beep in xorg.conf?

I'm getting a 2 second long, extremely loud beep when I hit
ctrl-alt-backspace.
Is there any way I can prevent the beep?
