Hi, based on what I see (in 10.3) it seems that opensuse's bootloader isn't a plain grub and doesn't use /boot/grub/menu.lst: if I modify entries in menu.lst I don't see the changes in the menu. How can I eradicate the package that shows suse's green menu and use exclusively grub? Or, alternatively, what files do I need to edit to configure the entries in the green menu? Finally, why so much mess? Wasn't it simpler just using grub? confusion ... confusion ... confusion ... It's the only thing that I really hate in a distribution that overall I like a lot.
