Ah, ok, the live... dunno. In the "real" one you can choose the desktop, and there is no default one, as far as I know. You can request the devs to create a kde3 live, of course.
The only choice for d'l is with Gnome, which is brain dead IMHO, or KDE 4.0....live CDs that is.
And remember that if kde4 has such big problems, that's mostly the kde people fault, not suse.

And it isn't. There is no primary desktop.
Well, that isn't what those who've done installs have indicated. I am, however, VERY glad to hear that, as 4.0 WILL kill 11.0.
You simply tested a live that contains only one of the available choices.
As I said from the very beginning..........I don't have a spare box right now to dedicate to testing 11.0 or I would have done a DVD install.
