As I said in my original post, she isn't, she does it all MANUALLY. I
would assume that there are still modems made that can read the caller
ID, but I haven't used a modem in so long, I am no longer familiar with
what is now available or their features. She uses the caller ID list
ON HER PHONE and reads the list and TYPES the info into a text document
on her computer. I want to automate that.
This can be done with mgetty and is relatively simple. How the call is
handled; auto answer, recorded message, logging etc... can be also be setup.
