I installed my Linksys router and wireless adaptor some months ago, set it up for secured access to prevent outside use. My own laptop already is setup to use it. I assume I set up a password but cannot find it or how to find it so I can give someone else access. Any suggestions? Is it stored in some file that, as root, I might have access to? Thanks for any suggestions.

You likely used a shared key (hopefully WPA and not WEP). It should not be visible in your configuration, but may be in your access point. If you can't find it, simply generate a new key and configure your access point and computer with it and then use it to enable your visitor. -- Use OpenOffice.org http://www.openoffice.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
