Hiya gang,
I got my new hdd insalled and figured it would be easier (for me, heh) to just 'move' some files from the old hdd (now sdb), to the new hdd (sda).
The problem is, when I boot into the sda drive and open for instance konqueror as a file manager, in the 'root' list, I don't see 'sdb'. I used to be able to do this in 9.3 so I could see another drive other than the one I was presently in (for my mom, for instance, so she can 'see' and open, her winblows hdd and move files between linux and it).
I guess I've simply forgot how to do it or 10.3 makes it trickier to do. Anyone have any suggestions how to go about getting this done?
I got it figured out. Charles wrote about if it was mounted, and I went into YaST to the bootloader section and 'editted' the partitions so they'd be mounted when I logged in. -- The right of citizens to bear arms is just one more guarantee against arbitrary government, one more safeguard against tyranny, which though now appears remote in America, history has proven to be always possible.
