I try to use a Serial Interface Analyzer from IFtools under openSuSE
10.3. The software on the host PC is able to detect this device only
when launched as root, but, when using it with my account, the device
cannot be detected. With dmesg I can see that the device is mounted on
"/dev/ttyUSB0". The output of "ls -l /dev/ttyUSB0" is "crw-rw---- 1
root uucp 188, 0 2008-04-11 16:06 /dev/ttyUSB0". However, after adding
my account to uucp group, the software is still not able to detect the
device. Can you help me please?
