I have an x-micro 11GUZX USB Wireless adapter that I have previously had
working in 10.2 (setup many moons ago). I decided to upgrade the
security (was using WEP, now want to use WPA), and have upgraded the OS
to 10.3 as well. According to everything I have been able to find, this
adaptor should pretty well work "out of the box" with 10.3, but I have
now been struggling for hours, and it seems to load everything ok, but
cannot pick up any signal at all:
SoftMAC: Associate: Scanning for networks first.
SoftMAC: Scanning finished: scanned 13 channels starting with channel 1
SoftMAC: Unable to find matching network after scan!
Have checked for firmware and it appears to be correct and in the right place (/lib/firmware/zd1211) Have tried even with no security - still the same....
This is the wifes PC, and I really have to get it working ASAP.... :-(
Any ideas?
