I'm having a real weird problem installing 10.2 on a new computer. If
I boot the install DVD or the CDs and try to install 32bit (in safe
mode) the computer locks after the multi language splash. If I boot
to 64bit install I can install ok. For various reasons though, this
computer needs to run in 32bit.

Nothing I do seems to work to get the computer to install in 32 bit.
I don't know how to even debug this prob since the computer will not
get anywhere when attempting to boot 32 bit. Does anyone have any
ideas why 32 bit refuses to even start but I can install 64??

Hardware: Asus M2N-X, AMD X2 4200+
