Sometimes Id:00 will appear as /dev/sdc while other time Id:01 will appear as /dev/sdd in partitioner, but never both at the same time. One or the other will be found with fdisk also.
Any ideas on how to make all the drives visible?
Not sure, but according to your output there, those are device #0 and device #1. What device # is your SCSI card? And exactly how is your SCSI bus termination configured? Non-existant or deviant bus termination can cause all sorts of problems.
