Well then, use the KDE Personal Settings tool
to configure it how YOU want it configured

K-menu => Personal settings.
Look for the national flags icon
...and then the keyboard icons.

Then, could you please give me step by step instructions
how
to do it for the Alt+Shift combination?

Thanks,

IG
Open yast go to hardware graphics card and monitor , go to
keyboard
and insert the extra groups that you want and then hit the
shortcuts
and change the shortcut for group changing.

Hello:

I know this method already. See previous posts.
However I wanted to know explicitly how I can setup keyboard
switching by Alt+Shift in kde (as I prefer to see the language
flag in the system tray).
