Go to your KDE control centre, keyboard layout

In xkb_options, select "enable xkb options" and "alt+shift
change
layout", click apply

Then go to "keyboard shortcuts", select "switch to next
keyboard
layout", select "custom shortcut" and press "alt-shift". If
everything
went correctly with xkb options, this will show up as
ISO_next_group
and will work for changing layouts.

Thanks.
I followed your instructions. Enabled "Alt+Shift change layout"
option in Keyboard Layout/Xkb options.
Next I changed the shortcut for "Switch to next keyboard
layout" action in Keyboard shortcuts. When I clicked Alt+Shift I
got "Alt+ISO_Prev_Group" instead of "ISO_next_group".
I clicked apply, logged out and in.
Alt+Shift has no action, it does not work.
Any idea?

Thanks,
IG
