Hi Istvan,

the method I use is as follows

 Go to your KDE control centre, keyboard layout

In xkb_options, select "enable xkb options" and "alt+shift change
layout", click apply

Then go to "keyboard shortcuts", select "switch to next keyboard
layout", select "custom shortcut" and press "alt-shift". If everything
went correctly with xkb options, this will show up as ISO_next_group
and will work for changing layouts.
