I want to install FAX4CUPS to work with HylaFax, and have found a package for it that is a noarch.rpm. My understanding from definitions I find on the Web is that this means it is CPU-hardware independent, so I can use it in a x86_64 system; what about distribution dependence?. The package is not marked as being associated with any distribution; can I use it with openSuSE?
That's one of the nice things about using RPM packages. You install it and if it doesn't work you can uninstall it. So... After you have installed and tested it let the rest of us know how it worked. -- Ken Schneider SuSe since Version 5.2, June 1998 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
